Foundation Behaviors: Putting the science to work - Training #4

What do you need to know, in order to know something else? What does your animal need to know, in order to know something else? This talk will cover how to identify different links in chained behavior, and how to train those in ways that set both you and your animal up for success. We have found that teaching giraffe pre-requisite skills such as targeting, backing up, following our body positions, etc. can help us reduce errors while we are teaching hoof care.
