Understanding giraffe taxonomy, conservation status and actions with Dr. Julian Fennessy and Dr. Michael Butler Brown from the Giraffe Conservation Foundation

Join us for an informational webinar session on Monday, January 12, 10 to 11 a.m.  MT.

As part of the Giraffe Center's mission, we openly share information and use evidence-based practices to relentlessly pursue improving the lives of giraffe worldwide.

With the IUCN now officially recognizing four giraffe species, GCF has offered to share updates on recent giraffe taxonomy, population numbers, and implications for Red List status and conservation efforts. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, learn, and engage throughout this experience.

This session is open to the giraffe community, and we’re excited to offer this special opportunity for deeper discussion and support.
