Description

As an animal trainer, it's both our job and our responsibility to be in touch with the progress our field is making. While the science behind how behavior works does not change, the way we utilize it does. Trainers are, as a whole, getting better at shaping new behaviors. We are doing this by carefully designing environments that set the animal up for better success, practicing our hand mechanics such as bridge timing, shaping foundation behaviors that can be used in different patterns. Join us to learn how we went from trial and error training to a more systematic, error-reduced approach to working with animals.
